The Yocan Veke is an electric grinder that grinds at the push of a button. The manufacturer calls it the world's smallest electric grinder, and in size it is closer to a small storage box than a countertop appliance.

The blades are cast zinc, which keeps them sharp for a long time and resists moisture without oxidising. The transparent lid shows the grinding progress, so you can get the coarseness just right: a coarser grind suits convection devices and pipes, a finer one suits conduction vaporisers. The container at the base doubles as storage.

The battery lasts about a hundred minutes of use per charge, which in normal use means a week or more. Protections include a 120-second safety cut-off, a low battery warning, motor jam protection and overcharge protection.
