1. Who We Are & Scope

These Terms govern purchases from the online store at ghosttownseeds.fi, operated by Ghost Town Seeds Oy, Business ID 3325098-9, VAT FI33250989, Kuunkierros 1 T 5, 02210 Espoo, Finland ("Ghost Town Seeds", "we").

The online store is intended for consumers. Business and wholesale orders are handled separately, outside this online store, on individually agreed terms, and are not governed by this document.

Purchases in our physical stores (Espoo, Lahti) are governed by Finnish law and any in-store notices; sections 6-7 of these Terms (delivery, withdrawal for distance sales) apply to online orders only.

By placing an order you accept these Terms. Nothing in these Terms limits your mandatory rights as a consumer under the Finnish Consumer Protection Act or EU law.

2. Age Limit (18+)

We sell only to persons aged 18 or over. By ordering you confirm you are at least 18. We may request proof of age and cancel orders where age cannot be verified.

3. Products and Legal Use

3.1 Cannabis seeds - collector's items only. We sell cannabis seeds solely for collecting, genetic preservation and other legal purposes. Product descriptions are provided purely as educational information about strain characteristics for collectors. Under Finnish law, cultivating or attempting to cultivate hemp for use as a narcotic is a criminal offence (fine or imprisonment of up to two years). We do not provide cultivation advice for cannabis. By ordering seeds you confirm you are purchasing them only for the legal purposes stated above and will not germinate or cultivate them where this is illegal.

3.2 Headshop and smoking accessories. You agree to use purchased products exclusively with legal herbs and under no circumstances with tobacco or illegal substances. Misuse of the products is a breach of these Terms, and we are not responsible for the customer's unlawful use of products.

3.3 CBD products. CBD products are sold in lawful presentations only and without medical or health claims.

3.4 Local law compliance. We deliver to Finland and throughout the EU. You are responsible for checking, before ordering, that the products you order are permitted under the legislation of the destination country. We may refuse to ship certain products (e.g. cannabis seeds) to countries where they are restricted.

4. Orders and Payment

Your order is binding when we confirm it. Orders are processed and shipped only after payment has been received.

Payment methods in the online store: bank transfer.

When paying by bank transfer, include your order number in the message field to speed up processing.

If an order has not been paid within 7 days, we cancel the order and return the products to stock.

5. Prices

Prices are in euros (EUR) and include Finnish VAT. Delivery costs are shown at checkout before you confirm your order. The price valid at the time of ordering applies. We reserve the right to correct obvious pricing errors before the contract is concluded.

6. Delivery

We deliver to Finland and EU countries. Estimated delivery times are shown at checkout; unless otherwise agreed, delivery takes place no later than 30 days from the order. Risk of loss or damage passes to a consumer when the consumer receives the goods.

Uncollected orders. Failing to collect a parcel is not the same as cancelling the order. If a parcel is returned to us uncollected, we refund the price of the products but may deduct the direct costs caused by the failed delivery; original shipping costs are not refunded.

7. Right of Withdrawal (14 Days - Consumers)

You have the right to withdraw from your order within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving a reason.

To withdraw, contact our customer service first at info@gtseeds.fi or +358 50 462 6782, or use the withdrawal form below. Return the goods within 14 days of your withdrawal notice. You pay the direct cost of returning the goods.

We refund all payments, including standard outbound delivery costs, within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal notice. We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back or you have shown proof of return. Refunds are made to the original payment method.

You may examine the goods as you would in a store. If the value of the goods has diminished because of handling beyond that, we may deduct the diminished value from the refund.

Exceptions. The withdrawal right does not apply to sealed goods that are not suitable for return for health or hygiene reasons once unsealed (e.g. certain vape/vaporizer products, mouthpieces etc.) or goods liable to deteriorate rapidly.

8. Defects and Warranty

We are liable for defects in the goods in accordance with the Finnish Consumer Protection Act: goods must conform to the contract, and defects present at delivery are remedied primarily by repair or replacement, or failing that by price reduction or refund. This statutory liability applies regardless of any separate manufacturer's warranty and is free of charge to you.

If a product arrives damaged or incorrect, contact us at info@gtseeds.fi with your order number and photos before returning anything.

9. Website, Content and Conduct

All content on ghosttownseeds.fi (texts, images, logos, the Ghost Town Seeds brand) belongs to us or our licensors. Breeder and strain names belong to their owners. You may not use the site unlawfully, provide false information, purchase on behalf of minors, or interfere with the site's operation. We may remove reviews or content that is unlawful or misleading and may suspend accounts that breach these Terms. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the website.

No scraping or automated data collection. You may not use bots, scrapers, crawlers, data-mining tools or any other automated means to access, copy, extract or monitor content, prices, product descriptions or other material from the website without our prior written consent. This does not restrict indexing by legitimate search engines (e.g. Google, Bing) carried out in accordance with our robots.txt.

Our pricing, product descriptions and catalogue structure represent a substantial investment of time, expertise and resources in obtaining, verifying and presenting this content, and constitute a database protected under the EU Database Directive (96/9/EC) and its Finnish implementation. Extracting or re-utilising all or a substantial part of this database without our consent is prohibited independently of any copyright in the individual texts.

We may block access, take technical measures (e.g. rate limiting, IP blocking), and pursue legal remedies against violations of this clause.

10. Liability

We are not liable for delay or failure caused by events beyond our reasonable control (force majeure). Nothing in these Terms limits our liability where it cannot be limited by law, including liability toward consumers for defective goods, for personal injury caused by negligence, or under mandatory consumer protection law.

11. Privacy and Cookies

Personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the GDPR.

11.1 Cookie Policy

This site uses cookies and similar technologies ("cookies") when you visit ghosttownseeds.fi. This section explains what they are, why we use them, and how you can control them.

What cookies are. Cookies are small text files placed on your device to make the site work, remember your preferences, and understand how the site is used.

Categories we use:

• Strictly necessary cookies. Required for the site to function: shopping cart, checkout, secure login, load balancing, fraud prevention, the 18+ age-verification prompt, and hCaptcha (bot/spam protection). These cannot be switched off and do not require consent, as they are necessary to provide the service you request.
• Functional/preference cookies. Remember settings such as your selected country/currency and language.
• Analytics cookies. Help us understand how visitors use the site (e.g. pages viewed, traffic sources) so we can improve it. Set only with your consent.
• Marketing/advertising cookies. Used to show relevant ads and measure their performance on platforms such as Meta (Facebook/Instagram) and TikTok, where we maintain business pages. Set only with your consent.

Consent. On your first visit, a cookie banner lets you accept all, reject non-essential, or manage preferences by category, in line with the ePrivacy rules and GDPR. You can change your choice at any time by clearing cookies in your browser. Strictly necessary cookies are always active because the site cannot function without them.

Third parties. Some cookies are set by third-party services we use to operate the store (e.g. Shopify as our e-commerce platform, payment providers, hCaptcha, and, where enabled, analytics and social-media platforms). Each provider's own privacy/cookie practices apply to their processing; see their respective privacy policies.

Managing cookies via your browser. You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings; note that blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent parts of the site (e.g. checkout) from working.

Changes. We may update this Cookie Policy as our use of cookies changes; the version in force at the time of your visit applies.

12. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by Finnish law. This does not deprive consumers of the mandatory protections of their EU country of residence.

If you are unhappy with your order, contact us first at info@gtseeds.fi. Consumers in Finland can contact the Consumer Advisory Services of the Finnish Competition and Consumer Authority (kuluttajaneuvonta, kkv.fi) and, if the matter is not resolved, the Consumer Disputes Board (kuluttajariitalautakunta, kuluttajariita.fi). Consumers in other EU countries can contact their local European Consumer Centre (ECC-Net).

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms. The version in force at the time of your order applies to that order.
