Shogun is a cross between two very different cannabis strains. The breeders at Royal Queen Seeds selected Amnesia Haze for its high THC content, strong yields, and sativa heritage. This variety is a direct descendant of Original Amnesia and also contains a moderate level of CBD. Alongside Amnesia Haze, Shogun’s genetics include Royal Gorilla.
This exceptionally strong hybrid can reach THC levels of up to 25% and offers a balanced combination of indica and sativa characteristics. Royal Gorilla itself is based on three classic strains: Sour Dubb, Chem Sis, and Chocolate Diesel. Shogun brings these genetics together with the sativa-style structure inherited from Amnesia Haze. Its high THC potential is derived from both parent lines.
Shogun is named after ancient Japanese warriors, reflecting focus and raw power. Its terpene profile closely follows its genetic lineage.
The THC content of this strain is reported to be around 25%.
