Joe's Longhorn produces long, twisting red fruits that often stretch beyond 25 centimetres and resemble a bull's horn in shape.

Its heat is 1,000 - 3,000 SHU, mild to medium, and the flavour is classic cayenne. The variety is especially well suited to drying and grinding into chilli powder, but it also works fresh in dishes and sauces.

The plant is vigorous, fast-growing and productive, and it does well in a pot, a raised bed or outdoors.
