The Yocan Dirk is a pen-style electric hot knife. The ceramic tip heats to a suitable temperature. There are three voltages, 2.6 V, 3.2 V and 3.8 V, and an LED shows the selected level by colour. Preheating takes ten seconds and a safety cut-off stops heating at fifteen seconds. The tip rotates in 90-degree steps, so you can find the right cutting angle for different containers.

The tip attaches magnetically without threads, so it does not seize up with sticky residue and can be changed in seconds. A round K1 tip is included, and the pointed K2 tip is compatible. The 400 mAh battery typically lasts one to two weeks and charges via USB-C in about an hour.
