Gold Label 60/40 Mix is a ready-made substrate mix with 60 % expanded clay pebbles and 40 % buffered coco fibre. The mix combines the airiness of clay pebbles with the water-holding capacity of coco in a single substrate.

The high air-to-water ratio keeps oxygen supply to the roots high and reduces the need for watering compared with clay pebbles alone, which gives more leeway for timed irrigation. The substrate is suitable for hydroponic systems and hand-watered pot growing. The clay pebbles are RHP and KIWA certified and the coco is buffered, so the substrate is stable and the grower stays in control of the nutrient solution.
