Thunder Mountain Longhorn is one of the longest-growing chillies in the world. The variety comes from the mountain regions of China, and the fruits can stretch to 30 - 40 centimetres, twisting strikingly as they grow.
The heat sits between mild and medium, and the flavour has subtle smokiness and earthiness. The variety suits stir-fries, drying and decorative chilli ristras.
The plant grows tall and yields generously, so it does well outdoors or in a large pot.
